Well, I'm ready for this Xmas season to end. Still, having said that, there's something "so '99" about hating Christmas. Holiday loathing has become so fashionable now- I hear it's all the rage in Willimansburgh. Just knowing that hipsters hate Xmas gives me enough reason to start liking it.

In the UK feelings towards Xmas aren't so ambivalent as Statesside. Here everybody hates it at makes no bones about it (of course they celebrate it anyway, in that unique suffering manner only the British can seem to muster). Kinda gives you a sense of continuity to learn that your grandma hated Christmas decades before your conception.
